Manchester developer Cole Waterhouse has been given the green light to build a £75m tower in Salford Quays.
The 29 story building will be called ‘Anchorage Gateway’, and it will have 4,000sq ft of commercial space as well as 27 floors of apartments which will provide 290 homes.
The tower has been designed by architects Chapman Taylor with WSP as the planning consultant, Renaissance as structural engineer, along with M and E contractor Novo, landscape architect Exterior Architecture and QS Henry Riley is also on the project team.

Since it was given its first outline consent back in November, there has been a number of design changes mainly to the amount of commercial space which will allow enough room for two shared terraces for residents and several rooftop apartments.
The latest designs were cleared by Salford city council at the end of last week.
As part of the building agreement, Cole Waterhouse will also renovate three nearby parks and a cemetery along with transport and highway improvements costing £1.3m.
Work is set to begin in early 2021 once a main contractor has been appointed later this year.
The same developer is currently working on a different site just across the River Irwell at No.1 Old Trafford, this two-towered 245-home scheme located by Manchester United football ground is being built by Domis Construction and is also valued at £75m.
