Easter is around the corner and the weather is getting warmer so we’ve rounded up the best things to do in Salford this half term.

Let your creativity run wild this Easter, by making your very own Easter Egg collecting basket at the Salford Museum and Art Gallery. All materials are provided by the museum, and hunts at home are made that much more special with your own personal touch. The event will be running on 13/04/22, from 10:00am to 3:00pm, and tickets are available here.
The Easter Bunny has been busy at RHS Bridgewater, leaving giant eggs around the garden for you to see between 02/04/22 and 24/04/22. Imagine the size of the chicken that laid that! Head on over to RHS Bridgewater to hunt for these enormous eggs hidden around the garden, and collect a chocolate prize at the end!
While you’re there, why not discover other Easter activities, like the Bread and Butter Theatre Easter Walkabout. Pete and Ged Moss entertain crowds with their musical wheelbarrow overflowing with bright, colourful Easter eggs between 15/04/22 and 18/04/22. You can book your garden visit on RHS’ website.

Hemsley House has its own Family Funday on 16/04/22, where families can enjoy an Easter Egg Hunt, a bouncy castle, and crafting between 10:30am and 4:30pm. You can see more information about this event here.
For long walks in the sunshine with the family, volunteers at Buile Hill Park have been making the park look beautiful for spring. Drinkwater Park, Clifton Park and Kersal Wetlands also make great spots for a dog walk with the kids on a spring day.
