Multiple police officers and vehicles attended a Salford street late last night, with a man in his 50s was found with stab injuries. 

Multiple police officers and vehicles attended a Salford street late last night, after a man in his 50s was found with stab injuries.

Emergency services were called to Capella Walk, Salford, just off Lower Broughton Road, after 10pm last night (Sunday 6 July).

With Greater Manchester Police sharing they visited the scene following reports of a disturbance. 

However, when the police arrived to the scene they saw that “a man in his 50s was found with stab injuries.”

Paramedics were able to treat the man at the scene, before shortly being taken to hospital – with Greater Manchester Police sharing that the man is now in a stable condition.

Officers were able to recover a knife from the scene – with a blue tent also seen in place at the time of the incident. 

Greater Manchester Police have also shared they have made an arrest on suspicion of attempted murder – with CSI (Crime Scene Investigation) continuing their investigation today.
