The cast of Blood Brothers is set to perform at The Lowry in November as part of their 2025 Autumn tour.
Bill Kenwright’s award-winning production of the musical will grace the Salford stage from Tuesday 18 to Saturday 22 November.
Having won 4 awards for Best Musical in London, Kenwright’s production has surpassed ten thousand performances on the West End.
Vivienne Carlyle (Mrs Johnstone), Sean Jones and Joe Sleight (Mickey & Eddie), and Gemma Brodrick (Linda) will be reprising their roles, with the addition of Michael Gillet, Francesca Benton-Stace and Latesha Karisa joining the cast.

The late Kenwright’s production of Willy Russell’s Blood Brothers tells the moving story of twins separated at birth, who meet tragically after growing up on opposite sides of the tracks in Liverpool.
With a score of emotional ballads and high-energy numbers, Blood Brothers follows the challenges and struggles of its protagonists while exploring the atmosphere of 1960s to 1980s Liverpool.
A contemporary nature versus nurture plot, Blood Brothers follows the stories of fraternal twins Mickey and Eddie, who are separated at birth and brought up in conflicting circumstances.
The different environments take the twins to opposite ends of the social spectrum, one becoming a councillor, and the other unemployed and in prison. They both fall in love with the same girl which causes a rift in their friendship.

This play is suitable for twelve years and above.
