Salford commuters are experiencing significant delays after a power line fault diverted routes in central Manchester.
Trams connecting Eccles to the centre of Manchester have been severely delayed following the fault which developed on Wednesday.
Transport for Greater Manchester stated that engineers have rectified the issue, but services on the Ashton Line – which connect Manchester to Salford Quays before continuing to Anchorage, Harbour City, Media City, Broadway, Langworthy, Ladywell, and terminating at Eccles – are currently facing heavy delays.
Tram tickets and passes are being accepted on ten Bee Network bus services to allow journey makers to travel across Salford and Greater Manchester.
TfGM confirmed that bus routes 10, 33, 50, 52, 53, 67, 79, 100, 248, and 249 are accepting valid tram tickets to help affected commuters complete their journeys.
We're currently experiencing delays of the Eccles line, as we continue to reform services across the network.
Tram tickets and passes are being accepted on the following Bee Network services: 10, 33, 50, 52, 53, 67, 79, 100, 248 & 249.
