An evangelical Christian church in Pendlebury is preparing to host a Christmas fun day event this weekend.
King’s Church Salford on Bolton Road will host a Christmas family fun day on Saturday 6 December, from 11am until 2pm.
Heather Denney, a receptionist at the church, for King’s Church, explained what can be expected.
“We have loads of things planned, there will be a grotto, live music, games, arts and crafts and food and drink, all the prices will be affordable.
“We are very excited to do this for the community.”
Entry to the fun day is free, but people hoping to attend the festive event will need to book a ticket in advance.

“If you bring an additional person, click the button as many times as you need,” Heather explained.
There are no age restrictions at this event, so anyone can attend, whether it be alone or with family and friends.
The Christmas fun day is a cash-only event, so those wanting to purchase things such as food and drink will need to make sure they have cash to hand.
“We are making sure the prices are reasonable and affordable, but please bring enough coins, we are looking forward to seeing you,” Heather said.
