The Lowry Theatre is set to host a Tina Turner tribute night this month.

The show, titled What’s Love Got To Do With It, drew 60,000 fans during its 2025 run.

Singer and musician  Holly Bannis will star as the Queen of Rock ‘n’ Roll.

Audiences can expect an energetic celebration of Turner’s life and career with a tribute performance of the rock and soul classics that made Turner a household name.

Accompanied by a live band, Holly Bannis will perform a collection of classic hits from Turner’s vast discography, including Proud Mary, River Deep – Mountain High, Simply The Best, Private Dancer, and many more.

What’s Love Got To Do With It promises to be a high-energy experience as Bannis steps into the late singer’s iconic shoes.

Holly Bannis said: “Tina was an obvious choice for me. During lockdown, I studied her performances obsessively, getting into her moves, her walk, and her energy.”

Transporting fans into the heart and soul of Turner’s career, the tribute performance honours the powerful vocals and high-energy of the set list, inviting audiences to dance and sing along.

What’s Love Got To Do With It encompasses the emotion, vibrancy and joy of Turner’s discography, promising to be a raw homage to the late musical icon.

The tribute performance will come to the Salford stage at the Lyric Theatre, The Lowry on Wednesday 27 May at 7.30pm.
