THE LAUNCH of the Tomorrow building on Thursday September 29 marked the end of MediaCityUK’s so-called ‘phase one’, making way for the ambitious ‘phase two.’
The new creative hub is a £20m hotel and office development for businesses in the digital, media and broadcasting sectors.
Open plan office spaces on the lower floors of the six storeys allow smaller media enterprises to work together, network and collaborate.
The other four higher storeys play host to a 112-bed Premier Inn hotel, which is part of the Peel company’s plan to attract more tourists to both Salford Quays and the Greater Manchester area.
To celebrate the building’s success, media creatives were invited to Thursday’s launch.
The evening included canapes from local food businesses, speeches from the hosts and playing retro video games.
