CAPTAIN and batsman Liam Livingstone has renewed his contract with the Lancashire club on a four year deal.
The 24 year old captain of the Red Rose team, who has played for England’s T20 team twice, will play for the club for the foreseeable future.

When speaking about his future with the club on Lancashire’s website, Livingstone said:” I’m thrilled to sign a new long-term contract with Lancashire. Playing cricket for this club is all I’ve ever wanted to do.
“I’m very privileged to play for the Red Rose and it’s something I thoroughly enjoy.
“The club has shown great faith in me throughout my career and I hope to return the favor by putting in some match-winning performances for the side over the next four years.”
Livingstone debuted for Lancashire in May 2015 and has been a highly rated prospect ever since. Debuting for England in June 2017 has further raised his stock to potentially become a regular feature for the international teams.
Lancashire Head Coach Glen Chapple commented, “We’re delighted that Liam has extended his contract with the Club.
“He’s one of the most destructive batsmen in the country and to average over 50 this season in the Specsavers County Championship batting at three shows how much talent he’s got.”
Lancashire will begin their attempt to place one better in the Specsavers County Championship in April 2018.
