The Christmas performance is set to come to The Lowry from the 24th November – 4th December.

As a joint production between Tony and Olivier award winner Bourne, and nationwide theatre company, New Adventures, the show promises to bring a sprinkle of Christmas magic to Salford.

Celebrating it’s 30th anniversary, Bourne’s well-loved classic combines the unmistakable music of Tchaikovsky with the Anthony Ward’s costume and design.

New Adventures is a national portfolio organisation supported using public funds by Arts Council England.

The story follows Clara’s journey from Christmas Eve at Dr. Dross’ orphanage, to the Kingdom of Sweetieland, taking inspiration from 1930’s Hollywood musicals.

The show’s cast includes Cordelia Brathwaite and Katrina Lyndon as Clara; Ashley Shaw and Monique Jones as Princess Sugar; Harrison Dowzell, Ben Brown and Reece Causton as the titular role and Wythenshawe’s Isaac Peter Bowry as a citizen of Sweetieland.
