Salford Community Leisure is offering free music tuition to children aged 5 to 7 years old.
MAPAS (Music and Performing Arts Salford) will be running their ‘Infant Orchestra’ music classes over 4 weeks until Saturday 22nd October.
Salford Community Leisure said: “This brand-new group aims to fill the gap in our current group music offering, by giving children a chance to learn and make music together.
“The sessions will be in a relaxed and friendly environment led by members of our professional tutor team.
“Children will have the opportunity to learn several instruments as part of the group including miniature violin, bamboo tamboo, recorder and percussion.
“Singing and music games will also form part of each exciting session.”
Taking place from 9.30am – 10.15am at Boothstown Community Centre, the sessions are part of a four-week trial with a view to run the sessions permanently during term time.
Tuition costs £5 per session. You can book your child on to an ‘Infant Orchestra’ session here.
