Salford University’s Dance Society are in rehearsals ready for their “Book of Legends” show, which is being performed in the New Adelphi theatre on Friday 9th February and Saturday 10th February.

The show is set to remember the lost legends of our time including; Michael Jackson, George Michael and Prince, whilst the second half focuses on current icons such as Ed Sheeran, Lady Gaga, Eminem and Rihanna.

54 members of SUDS will be performing on the night.

The society has run numerous shows over the years including ‘Let’s go to the movies’ and ‘Best of British.’

The society trains members in a variety of dance styles including jazz, contemporary and tap.

This broad range of styles is set to make the show one to remember.

Adult tickets are being sold as £6 whilst student tickets are £4 with group discounts available.

Emily Galloway, Assistant Choreographer for SUDS said: “this is my third show with SUDS, but only my first being a choreographer so it’s really exciting for all our hard work to finally be put on stage for the public to watch.

“There is me and Sophie Stephens who are the main choreographers. I am the assistant but we have also had many other people choreographing dances.

“Everyone in the society has been so committed turning up every week since September to make this show as great a it could be.”
