Star cast announced for Harold Pinter’s The Birthday Party at The Lowry

Tristan Gemmill and Michelle Collins will star in Harold Pinter’s comedy, re-imagined by The Everyman Theatre Company.

The Everyman Theatre Company, brings together a star cast, including Michelle Collins and Tristan Gemmill, to present Pinter’s classic, The Birthday Party, and will be at The Lowry from Tuesday 14 – Saturday 18 April.

Best known for her roles as Cindy Beale in EastEnders (BBC One) and Stella Price on Coronation Street (ITV), Michelle Collins has worked in TV for over 30 years, other television roles include Real Women, Dr Who and Casualty.

Stage credits include Calendar Girls, Rattle of Simple Man, The Vagina Monolgues and Never Forget.

Tristan Gemmill is best know for his role as Robert Preston in Coronation Street (ITV) and Dr Adam Trumen in Casualty (BBC One).

Screen roles include, The Jacket and The Curse of the Midas Box.

Set in a dilapidated seaside boarding house the mysterious Stanley Webber receives a visit from two sinister strangers, Goldberg and McCann.
