Salford is on 896 confirmed cases of coronavirus, an increase of five.

The data was released today by the Department for Health and Social Care in partnership with the Office for National Statistics.

The current number of cases in each region is as follows:

SALFORD: 896, an increase of 5

BURY: 675, an increase of 6

BOLTON: 959, an increase of 5

ROCHDALE: 729, an increase of 9

OLDHAM: 1,012, an increase of 8

TAMESIDE: 633, an increase of 6

STOCKPORT: 1,014, an increase of 1

CENTRAL MANCHESTER: 1,445, an increase of 17

TRAFFORD: 751, an increase of 5
