Salford has had 1,760 confirmed cases of coronavirus, an increase of EIGHTEEN.

The data was released today by the Department for Health and Social Care in partnership with the Office for National Statistics.

The current number of cases in each region is as follows:

SALFORD: 1,760, an increase of EIGHTEEN

BURY: 1,558, an increase of EIGHT

BOLTON: 2,249, an increase of ELEVEN

ROCHDALE: 2,210, an increase of TWENTY TWO

OLDHAM: 2,838, an increase of THIRTY FIVE

TAMESIDE: 1,880, an increase of TEN

STOCKPORT: 1,967, an increase of THREE

MANCHESTER: 4,166, an increase of FORTY ONE

TRAFFORD : 1,641, an increase of FIFTEEN

WIGAN: 2,303, an increase of SIX
