Salford has had 2,240 confirmed cases of coronavirus, an increase of THIRTY NINE.

The data was released today by the Department for Health and Social Care in partnership with the Office for National Statistics.

The current number of cases in each region is as follows:

SALFORD: 2,240, an increase of THIRTY NINE

BURY: 1,882, an increase of THIRTY

BOLTON: 3,383, an increase of EIGHTY ONE

ROCHDALE: 2,608, an increase of THIRTY THREE

OLDHAM: 3,372, an increase of FORTY FIVE

TAMESIDE: 2,348, an increase of TWENTY FIVE

STOCKPORT: 2,210, an increase of NINETEEN

MANCHESTER: 5,118, an increase of SIXTY FIVE

TRAFFORD: 1,881, an increase of FOURTEEN

WIGAN: 2,587, an increase of TWENTY THREE
