The young and upcoming Salford MMA fighter, Callum Mather, feels gutted after his fight got cancelled yesterday.

Mather, 24, said he felt like rubbish and that he was training really hard for the fight.

However, he will be fighting under a new organisation called UKFC on December 3rd, 2022.

His new opponent called Nathan Wyatt has won 3 of his last fights and Mather said he will smash him.

Mather said: “I started through a white-collar fight Ultra MMA and that was my first taste of being in an octagon so I suppose that inspired me to continue further. You have your classic MMA stars and it’s always growing and it’s always been a fascination of mine and that’s my inspiration, just MMA in general.”

He said he could not specify how he was training but he was working hard and the camp he was training under was aware of the dangers the opponent could bring.

Mather said: “If you have already paid to watch the previous fight, you do not have pay extra money to watch the fight.”

Tickets will cost £40 and if you want to know more information about the event and the stats of the Mather and Wyatt you can just go to the website tapology.com.
