Eccles outdoor gym has been reopened to the public after its equipment was refurbished.
The outdoor gym, located in Eccles Recreational Ground, Oxford Street, has seen its equipment transformed, with cross trainers, bars and steppers painted in a bright orange.
Demonstrations on how to use the new equipment will take place during Eccles Festival, on the August Bank Holiday weekend.
Labour MP for Worsley & Eccles South, Barbara Keeley, wrote in a Facebook post: “I am very pleased that the outdoor gym equipment at the Eccles Recreational Ground has been refurbished and is open to the public.
The manufacturer which has refurbished the equipment will be at the Eccles Festival, to be held on the August Bank Holiday weekend, and will be giving demonstrations of how to use the equipment and answering any questions that you may have.”
