Police have arrested two men on suspicion of the attempted murder of a 34-year-old man.
The arrests follow an incident at a property on Norfolk Street, Walkden on Saturday 4 November 2023, where a man was found with a suspected gunshot injury and knife wounds. He is still recovering from his injuries.
The police have since arrested a 29-year-old and a 30-year-old man on suspicion of attempted murder.
Police are appealing for witnesses to the incident and also for anyone who may have seen a blue Volvo left on Cooper Lane, Blackley, which is thought to be connected with this incident.
Detective Inspector Justin Bryant from Salford CID said: “We are appealing for anyone who may have been in the area at the time of the incident and who may have information to share – including footage such as CCTV, mobile or dashcam in the link below.
“We are also asking anyone who might have any CCTV or dashcam footage of the Volvo or being in the vicinity of Cooper Lane, between 6pm and 7pm on Saturday 4 November 2023 to submit any material here.”
