The popular homeware retailer The Range is giving away free goodie bags and a kitchen bundle at the grand opening of its newest store in Walkden tomorrow on Black Friday.
Located in the former Poundland store at Ellesmere retail park, the doors will be opening to locals at 9am on November 24.
The first 50 customers will receive a goodie bag, with the first person to enter the new store earning a kitchen electrical bundle.
On top of that, those who cannot attend the opening can enter a competition to win a £250 gift card, a prize exclusively instore, which expires on December 10.
Shoppers can browse and stock up on decorations, trees, lights, and other festive gear in the popular Christmas section as December edges closer, with bosses claiming they will have their best-ever exclusive opening offers.
The store will be the company’s second in Salford after the Eccles store opened in 2014 at West One Retail Park. Plans to open the newest store were first proposed in 2022.
Construction began at the end of August and the shop spans three empty units. Poundland closed on February 28 this year.
The store is set to provide a boost to the local economy and create several new jobs. The Range first advertised vacancies for the branch in August ahead of opening.
