The award winning theatre department from Pendleton Sixth Form College performed to 12,000 people in “The Big Night of Musicals” at the AO Arena.
The night was hosted by Salford’s own Jason Manford and also included an appearance from American sensation, Nicole Scherzinger.
Nathan Jarvis, Musical Director of Pendleton College said: “A lot of colleges would dream of having this opportunity, it is quite rare but the students are incredible for performing to over thousands of people and sharing a stage with West End actors.”
Nathan adds: “For my students to get this opportunity at such as early stage in their career is amazing actually.”

The night featured popular musicals in the UK from the likes of Hamilton, Phantom of the Opera, Mrs. Doubtfire and more.
The talented theatre group previously performed in February 2023 at the AO Arena and over 10 million streamed on BBC1.
