Two men in balaclavas forced a teenager to hand over his £4,000 bike at knifepoint in Worsley.

The two males, one on an electric bike and one on a moped, rode past the 15-year-old victim on Chatsworth Road, Worsley, on Tuesday March 5.

The suspects were both dressed in black and wearing balaclavas.

One of the men then chased the teenager down a small footpath that leads to the White Horse pub at around 6pm.

The Specialized bike is valued at almost £4,000.

PC Dale McAllister, from Salford’s Neighbourhood Crime Team, said: “This was a frightening incident for a young person to have to go through and he quite rightly he wants his bike back.

“Thankfully this type of incident is quite rare but we are hoping that someone in the area at the time may have seen something.”
