Multiple police officers and vehicles were in attendance in Salford after reports of a firearms discharge in the early hours of the morning.
The shooting was reported outside a property on Whit Lane in Salford at 12:39am today (Monday 3 March 2025).
Following reports of the incident police have set up a scene a Whit Lane – with yellow tape and multiple vehicles in attendance.

Four police vehicles, which included three police cars and one van, were at the scene with officers cordoning off the corner of Jasmine Drive and Whit Lane.
Officers at the scene were known to be conducting fingertip searches in the cordoned off area of the street.
Following the incident, a spokesperson from Salford GMP said: “Officers were called to reports of a firearms discharge outside a property on Whit Lane in Salford at 12:39am this morning (Monday 3 March 2025).
“Thankfully, no one was injured.”
The spokesperson continued: “A scene remains in place whilst officers conduct their enquiries.”
