Salford police taped off an area around Salford Shopping Centre after “reports of an assault” earlier this morning.
Officers have been at the scene on Pendleton Way, after being “called to Salford Precinct at about 5:10am today (20 August) to reports of an assault.”
Salford GMP confirmed that a male victim was taken to hospital this morning and is currently being treated for head injuries.
The incident is believed to have occurred around Salford Shopping Centre, Pendleton Way at around 5.10am – with police cordoning off the surrounding area.
Police said: “Three men have been arrested on suspicion of assault.”
