Salford City will host local rivals Oldham Athletic at the Peninsula Stadium at 12:30 pm in hopes of getting back to winning ways.
The Ammies have lost three games on the bounce in the league and have dropped to ninth in the table. However, three points may push them back up into the play-off spots.
Salford won their last game at the Peninsula against another local rival, a 3-1 victory over Stockport County. Robinson’s men will look to make it another home win against a local rival in front of the Ammies’ faithful.
They host 15th-placed Oldham Athletic, who are also winless in the last three. The two Manchester-based sides last met in 2022, with Salford edging a 2-1 win away from home.
With the recent announcement of the club’s kit colour changing back to orange for the 2026/27 season. The fans will be eager to back the Ammies for a win for more good news in what looks like to be a fiery contest between the two sides on Saturday.
The result is in! 77% of fans have voted to revert Salford City’s primary colour to Orange 🧡

The Latics have kept the most clean sheets in the league this season with six, the Ammies will hope to break their two-game scoreless streak against a strong defensive side.
Salford are goalless in the last two league games, and they’ll look towards summer signing Dan Udoh to re-enact his brilliant start to the season with six g/a and get his name back on the scoresheet.
Karl Robinson looked at the game this weekend: “We’ve got to pick ourselves up, we’ve got to look at the individual mistakes we’ve made and make sure we don’t make them again.
“As a collective, we have to be better; our units have to be stronger.
“We have to take responsibility for individual errors. I need to find maturity in our play.
“We need to make sure we get back to what we’re doing right. Running forward, making passes forward, making it difficult for the opposition.
“We do that and we’ll be a force for anybody.”
“Whenever we win, it’s not just us on the football pitch that reap the rewards. It affects all of our weekends.”
The Ammies will look to bounce back from their recent disappointing form and solidify themselves in the top six for the rest of the season.
