Police are appealing for information following the death of a 73-year-old man from Salford.
David Harris passed away in his home at 53 Welwyn Drive in Claremont on 1 July.
Greater Manchester Police do not believe there are any suspicious circumstances surrounding his death.
In a social media post, a spokesperson for the force said: “Police are appealing for the public’s help to trace the family of David Harris from Salford.
“David Harris, aged 73, died at 53 Welwyn Drive, Salford on 01/07/2026.
“There are no suspicious circumstances surrounding their death.
“Anyone with information about David Harris’s next of kin should contact the police coroner’s office in Bolton on 0161 856 4687.”
Police often issue appeals like this to help trace the relatives of people who have died across the region before a cause of death is established.
Once officers have gathered the necessary details, the information is passed to the coroner’s office so a full cause of death can be determined.
