A man from Salford is due to appear in court charged with stalking and drug offences following an incident in Broughton.

Sean Isles of Kempster Gardens in Salford has been charged with stalking and possession of cannabis.

The 48-year-old is due to appear at Manchester and Salford Magistrates’ Court today, Monday 6 July.

The charges relate to an incident which took place on Friday, 3 July, on Leicester Road in Broughton, a Greater Manchester Police spokesperson confirmed.

Isles has since been remanded in custody ahead of his scheduled court appearance.

A police spokesperson said: “Sean Isles (20/11/1977) of Kempster Gardens, Salford, has been charged with stalking and possession of cannabis.

“He has been remanded in custody and is scheduled to appear at Manchester and Salford Magistrates Court on Monday 6 July.

“This is in relation to an incident that occurred on Friday 3 July on Leicester Road.”
