CHARISMATIC boxer Tyson Fury appeared on prime morning television with Piers Morgan and Susanna Reid in his biggest television appearance since the announcement of his comeback fight in June.

The heavyweight put in an assured performance on Good Morning Britain this morning and was looking calm and confident as ever as he spoke about his weight loss regime and his upcoming fight.

He also spoke highly of his main rival Anthony Joshua giving him praise but also issuing a warning to the London fighter to ‘hold onto the throne’ as he is now back to reclaim his spot at the top of the heavyweight division after stating that he can beat Joshua.

The Manchester boxer is fighting at the arena on the 9th of June in his eagerly anticipated return fight against a yet to be confirmed opponent.

Fury who in the past has been considered controversial and out spoken has always been a favourite amongst boxing fans across the UK because of his sense of humour. Since the announcing of his fight his popularity has only grew as excitement continues to build for his bout.

Nicknamed ‘the gypsy king’, fury hasn’t had a professional fight since he beat former world champion Vladimir Klitschko in a classy performance back in 2015.

He has since been back in the gym training and is looking in good shape ready for his comeback fight on June the 9th.
