Social 7’s Events Manager Sammie Phillips is hoping that it’s a session that can bring everyone together and go a long way towards benefiting the wellbeing of those in attendance.
She said: “We wanted to bring everyone together in MediaCity and we wanted them to find out what they could be doing to boost their wellbeing.
“It’s not just the fact of going to the gym or going for a run; it’s mindfulness, it’s what we put in our bodies, how we keep calm and how we deal with anxiety.
“We’ve invited a load of brands, dentists, we’ve also got spas coming and mindfulness sessions, with all of them giving out hints and tips to people to help them be the best they can be.”
The free event is open to the public and will run between 5-8pm on Thursday evening. It’s an event that Sammie hopes anyone can come down to and learn about their wellbeing from.
“[We’d like to attract] People who aren’t sure about wellbeing and what they could be doing more about it.
“Or just people who are already into their fitness and wellbeing, and they just want to find out more about different brands as well.
“I think it brings the community together. Learning about something else, meeting new people – it brings us all together which I think is a really fantastic thing.
“We just want people to go away learning something different, something that they can say really helped them and their wellbeing, boosting it and hopefully they’ll be feeling better about themselves when they leave.”
You can register for your free ticket to the event at Social 7 here or by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org, or you can simply turn up on the evening.
