Salford is on 1,435 confirmed cases of coronavirus, an increase of ELEVEN.

The data was released today by the Department for Health and Social Care in partnership with the Office for National Statistics.

The current number of cases in each region is as follows:

SALFORD: 1,435, an increase of ELEVEN

BURY: 1,334, an increase of FIVE

BOLTON: 1,966, an increase of TEN

ROCHDALE: 1,847, an increase of ELEVEN

OLDHAM: 2,073, an increase of SEVENTEEN

TAMESIDE: 1,591, an increase of FIVE

STOCKPORT: 1,716, an increase of FIVE

MANCHESTER: 3,206, an increase of THIRTY TWO

TRAFFORD: 1,401, an increase of EIGHTEEN

WIGAN: 2,172, an increase of NONE
