Salford has had 1,462 confirmed cases of coronavirus, an increase of NINE.

The data was released today by the Department for Health and Social Care in partnership with the Office for National Statistics.

The current number of cases in each region is as follows:

SALFORD: 1,462, an increase of NINE

BURY: 1,342, an increase of ONE

BOLTON: 1,993, an increase of SIX

ROCHDALE: 1,870, an increase of SIX

OLDHAM: 2,134, an increase of THIRTEEN

TAMESIDE: 1,625, an increase of FIFTEEN

STOCKPORT: 1,748, an increase of THIRTEEN

MANCHESTER: 3,306, an increase of THIRTY SEVEN

TRAFFORD: 1,438, an increase of TWELVE

WIGAN: 2,182, an increase of THREE
