Salford has had 1,513 confirmed cases of coronavirus, an increase of TWELVE.

The data was released today by the Department for Health and Social Care in partnership with the Office for National Statistics.

The current number of cases in each region is as follows:

SALFORD: 1,513, an increase of TWELVE

BURY: 1,376, an increase of ELEVEN

BOLTON: 2,040, an increase of TWENTY ONE

ROCHDALE: 1,923, an increase of FOURTEEN

OLDHAM: 2,238, an increase of THIRTY EIGHT

TAMESIDE: 1,658, an increase of ELEVEN

STOCKPORT: 1,791, an increase of SIX

MANCHESTER: 3,397, an increase of TWENTY TWO

TRAFFORD: 1,461, an increase of NINE

WIGAN: 2,196, an increase of ONE
