Salford has had 1,635 confirmed cases of coronavirus, an increase of SEVENTEEN.

The data was released today by the Department for Health and Social Care in partnership with the Office for National Statistics.

The current number of cases in each region is as follows:

SALFORD: 1,635, an increase of SEVENTEEN

BURY: 1,458, an increase of TWELVE

BOLTON: 2,157, an increase of THIRTEEN

ROCHDALE: 2,058, an increase of TEN

OLDHAM: 2,581, an increase of FOURTEEN

TAMESIDE: 1,772, an increase of FOUR

STOCKPORT: 1,897, an increase of SIX

MANCHESTER: 3,754, an increase of THIRTY FOUR

TRAFFORD : 1,554, an increase of TEN

WIGAN: 2,242, an increase of FOUR
