Salford has had 1,713 confirmed cases of coronavirus, an increase of SEVEN.

The data was released today by the Department for Health and Social Care in partnership with the Office for National Statistics.

The current number of cases in each region is as follows:

SALFORD: 1,713, an increase of SEVEN

BURY: 1,514, an increase of EIGHT

BOLTON: 2,198, an increase of FOUR

ROCHDALE: 2,150, an increase of EIGHT

OLDHAM: 2,741, an increase of TWENTY TWO

TAMESIDE: 1,830, an increase of TEN

STOCKPORT: 1,944, an increase of SEVEN

MANCHESTER: 4,005, an increase of THIRTY SEVEN

TRAFFORD : 1,597, an increase of EIGHT

WIGAN: 2,272, an increase of TWO
