Salford has had 1,720 confirmed cases of coronavirus, an increase of SEVEN.

The data was released today by the Department for Health and Social Care in partnership with the Office for National Statistics.

The current number of cases in each region is as follows:

SALFORD: 1,720, an increase of SEVEN

BURY: 1,529, an increase of FIFTEEN

BOLTON: 2,207, an increase of NINE

ROCHDALE: 2,155, an increase of FIVE

OLDHAM: 2,759, an increase of EIGHTEEN

TAMESIDE: 1,842, an increase of TWELVE

STOCKPORT: 1,950, an increase of SIX

MANCHESTER: 4,034, an increase of TWENTY NINE

TRAFFORD : 1,606, an increase of NINE

WIGAN: 2,281, an increase of NINE
