A new vegan friendly dessert shop has now opened in Irlam.

Small business owner Fama Ulhaq has expanded the Range Desserts franchise to Salford.

Range Desserts not only offer a variety of sweet treats, but the menu also caters to a halal and vegan friendly diet.

The dessert shop is open daily from 3pm till 11pm and is located on 577 Liverpool Road, M44 5BE.

The Range Dessert menu consists of vegan ice cream, vegan waffles, vegan milkshakes, and cookie dough.

Although Range Desserts have an extensive menu Ulhaq said: “Our most popular items are the milkshakes and vegan waffles”.

Finding vegan milkshakes can be difficult. Luckily Range Desserts are able to upkeep their vegan menu by opting for vegan ice cream, alternate cow’s milk with soya milk and use vegan whipped cream to top off their milkshakes.

The Range Dessert franchise can be found all around Greater Manchester.

With locations available in Whalley Range, Cheetham Hill, Levenshulme and now Irlam.

Ulhaq said: “I chose Irlam to expand the franchise because there is an increasing demand for vegan food and currently no other dessert shop that caters to a vegan market.

“Therefore, Range Desserts was necessary for the Salford community”.

Range Desserts is available on Uber Eats and Deliveroo. There is also a Range Desserts app which is available to download for both Apple and Android devices.

The small business owner mentioned: “We are currently offering a 10% discount on our popular items and regularly have promotional offers on our Range Desserts app”.

The full Range Dessert menu can be found here.
