The Ammies are looking to continue their unbeaten run in the month of February when Crawley Town visit the Peninsula Stadium this Saturday.

Gary Bowyer’s men could move up to 8th place providing results go their way this weekend when they take on a Crawley side who have been in a similar vein of form to Salford this season with inconsistency plaguing both teams.

This is reflected by their positions in League 2 with Salford and Crawley sitting in 10th and 12th respectively. Crawley will be looking to bounce back after they took a disappointing defeat to Hartlepool at home in their last game.

Ammies centre back Theo Vassell will be in high confidence going into the mid table clash after the defender scored in the reds last game and was subsequently named player of the match. He was also included in the League 2 team of the week.

Matt Smith and Brandon Thomas-Asante will also be looking to build on their partnership as the two have found themselves playing well alongside each other since Smith signed an 18 month deal from Millwall.

Despite a lack of goals between the big man, little man partnership, there has been undeniable chemistry between the two in their last few games. The 6ft 6 Englishman has 1 goal in his first 6 games after scoring a headed winner against Carlisle.

Salford are likely to name an unchanged 11.
Predicted XI:
T. King
J. Lowe
T. Vassell
J. Turnbull
C. Ndaba
L. Shephard
R. Watson
S. Kelly
A. Hunter
B. Thomas-Asante
M. Smith

Salford have also added a nice touch by making all tickets for the game £5 with the exception of under 16s tickets which are £2 which will no doubt encourage more supporters to head down to the peninsula.
