Hotel Football, which was created in 2015 by Salford City F.C co-owners: Gary Neville, Ryan Giggs, Paul Scholes, Nicky Butt and Philip Neville, will be the first Tribute Portfolio Hotel in Manchester.

Situated next to Old Trafford, Hotel Football offers football fans a unique hotel experience and will be only the second Tribute Potrfolio hotel in the UK.

Artwork created by students from the University of Salford are also featured in the hotel. Chosen by the hotel founders, the 70 artworks can be found in bedrooms, on staff uniform as well as in the Football Café.

Graphic design student, Joe Swain is one of the Salford University students to have his work featured in the hotel. Speaking about his experience he said “It was great, from the talk to the event….and also to see our work hung up in the hotel it was really cool to see. It was a great experience”.

Hotel Football offers guests a unique and out of the ordinary hotel experience, as with all Tribute Portfolio properties.

The hotel, inspired by its incredible location next to the Old Trafford football stadium, boasts 133 bright and modern rooms ranging in price ranges and categories.

Room categories include King, Stadium View, Squad and most recently The Class of ’92 Rooms. Each room offers football fans bespoke Class of ’92 amenities, showcasing the founder’s shared love and passion for football.

Other amenities offered at the hotel include The Old Trafford Supporters Club basement, showcasing a 32-foot bar, the perfect place to retreat on match days.

For those who want to play the beautiful game, Heaven, a five-a-side football pitch and event space are on the hotel’s rooftop with a fully retractable roof.

Special appearances and Q&A sessions take place in the prestigious Stadium Suite, where fans can enjoy a four-course meal in the company of a Manchester United Legend.
