Suspiciously Cheap Comedy is coming to Salford bringing affordable entertainment to the New Adelphi Theatre.

The New Adelphi Theatre has been home to many comedy shows in the past including, Comedy Sportz UK and weekly comedy nights, organised by the Students of Salford University.

One of Comedy’s more prominent groups in the industry, Suspiciously Cheap Comedy,  will be returning to Salford soil on Wednesday the 8th April.

The comedy show is hosted by multiple award-winning acts including Gein’s Family Giftshop, Goose and MC Kiri Pritchard-McLean.

The touring comedy show offers tickets for as low as £5 with comedians featured being announced as the date draws near.

The show has featured the likes of Nish Kumar, Sara Pascoe and Tim Key amongst others, who knows who’ll show up in Salford?

Prior to making a return in April, ‘Suspiciously Cheap Comedy’ took to the New Adelphi Theatre back in October of 2019.

The night is as much about putting on a good show as it is about making it affordable

On their Facebook page they explained why the show was made saying: “We think comedians should have great, switched-on audiences to try out new material in front of”

“And we also believe that everyone should be able to afford a great night of comedy.”

“So, we collected an amazing audience of comedy fans and we made our night as cheap as we could: some (we) would say Suspiciously Cheap. And now here we are.”

Of course, the minimum age is 16 years old, as it does contain tasteful swearing, adult content and audience interaction.
