Salford has had 1,529 confirmed cases of coronavirus, an increase of SEVEN.

The data was released today by the Department for Health and Social Care in partnership with the Office for National Statistics.

The current number of cases in each region is as follows:

SALFORD: 1,529, an increase of SEVEN

BURY: 1,397, an increase of TEN

BOLTON: 2,062, an increase of SEVEN

ROCHDALE: 1,944, an increase of ELEVEN

OLDHAM: 2,302, an increase of THIRTY THREE

TAMESIDE: 1,687, an increase of TWELVE

STOCKPORT: 1,814, an increase of THIRTEEN

MANCHESTER: 3,460, an increase of TWENTY EIGHT

TRAFFORD: 1,479, an increase of FOUR

WIGAN: 2,205, an increase of SIX
