Clifton Library is set to be temporarily closed throughout February due to “urgent repairs” being needed.
The library, located on Wynne Avenue, is set to be closed from February 6 2023. Reopening dates for the library and the nature of the repair work has not yet been announced.
Salford Community Libraries announced the news via a Facebook post this afternoon (Friday 27 January).
The post read: “Due to urgent repairs, Clifton Library will be temporarily closed from February 6th, 2023.
“We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause.”
The post informed visitors can visit other libraries around the city whilst Clifton remained closed.
The post continued: “Don’t forget, you can also access our online resources like Borrowbox and Libby for free with your library card.”
