Salford’s Islington Mill’s Lurid Ultra Hybrid nightclub will host Kantos Chamber Choir’s latest spine-tingling performance, In Your Dreams on Saturday February 25.
The Kantos Chamber Choir will aim to wow new audiences by pushing the boundaries and expectations for choral music, exploring the theme of dreams and sleep in the neon nightclub setting.
The performance, catered for keen classical music fans and brand new audience members alike will operate on a Pay What You Can basis; individuals can choose the ticket band that they are able or happy to pay for.
Featuring soft and sleep-inducing lullaby music alongside songs inspired by the nonsense dream world, audiences are invited to, “join us on our quest to discover what happens when we close our eyes.”
Audiences will be taken on a journey through improvised soundscapes, poetry by Shakespeare and Edgar Allan Poe, and music by Eric Whitacre, Laura Mvula, Vaughan Williams and many more.
