Three consecutive seasons in League Two has all of Salford wanting more, with less than ten games to play and six points away from automatic promotion- it is all left to play for.

Salford City have three crucial upcoming fixtures with all three teams in the top six, including Stevenage, Stockport and Leyton Orient.

With two of the games away from home, the travelling fans will be crucial to spur them on and even more importantly the home fans to welcome them back from the road.

With arguably their three most important games of the season coming up, all back to back, Head Coach Neil Wood certainly still has a lot to play for.

Neil Wood said:  “We’ve got nine important games to go. We want to win as many of those games as possible and we’re confident, performances have been really good we’ve just got to maintain that, that consistency that we’ve been searching for, now would be a great time to put that into practice.

“It was really important to bounce back as the famous saying goes, and I thought we did it really well. I thought we dominated most of the game, first half especially we were well on top, could have scored possibly a few more but we scored the third goal at an important time which allowed us to shut the game down.”

This was said after a fantastic 3-1 victory over Doncaster Rovers, which helped to turn around their form after losing previously to Crewe 4-3.

The Ammies home form this season has been of particular positivity, with 6 wins in 8 in 2023 making it a difficult ground for any side in the league to play at.

They will be hoping to continue to keep the Peninsula Stadium a fortress for the remainder of the season to boost their chances of reaching the automatic promotion spots.

Luke Bolton, who has two goals and two assists in his previous two games for the side will also be looking to continue his superb run of form for the side and help to push the team to further success.
