A number of ex and current smokers living in Broughton are set to receive letters inviting them to a free virtual NHS lung health check.
The ‘M.O.T for your lungs’ is being targeted at people aged 55-74 in the area who have previously, or currently smoke. The check up takes place via telephone.
The Targeted Lung Health Check programme is a nationwide scheme which assesses the risk of lung cancer by examining patient’s breathing, lifestyle, and family and medical history.
