Langworthy Live is set to welcome back silent discos, singers, and even jugglers to perform in highstreet shops and streets for a third year.

Taking place on Saturday 16 September, the volunteer-led event will be held across a variety of venues on Langworthy Road and Liverpool Street, including the dry cleaners and the Lash Lounge.

With DJs and musicians ensuring the party goes on late into the evening, quiet spaces for relaxation and a cup of tea will also be provided.

Local bands, artists, or anyone with an entertaining act are encouraged to sign up to perform at the event.

Tickets cost £5.50, with proceeds from every purchase supporting LifeCentre, a Salford-based Christian Charity which has provided breakfast clubs, counselling and support in the area for more than 20 years.

The festival is modelled on Chorley Live, an annual community event centred around supporting local business and charities, which has welcomed more than 12,000 attendees.
