The junction from Regent Road to Oldfield Road is set to be closed for two weeks due to emergency gas works.
The closure was announced today (Friday 18 August) by Salford City Council, is set to come into force on Monday (21 August), with a diversion in place down Trinity Way.
The gas works are set to last two weeks.
