Eccles’ Wilkinson’s store is set to close next week as more than 50 branches go nationwide.
The Church Street store is set to close on Thursday (14 September) after falling into administration last month.
The Eccles branch is one of 52 Wilkos shutting down nationwide with more than 1,000 workers set to lose their jobs.
Retailer B&M bought 51 further Wilkos in a £13 million deal, with the stores set to be rebranded.
The future of around 300 more Wilko stores is uncertain.
Stockport and Harpurhey are two other stores in Greater Manchester to close throughout the next week.
