A community Christmas party is on offer at Walkden Winter Wonderland this Saturday.
Craft markets and other attractions open from 10 am for families and Christmas shoppers. Santa is also set to visit at 2.30pm with photo opportunities for the children.
Community dancers and singers will be on the entertainment stage, from 12pm to 4pm, with face-painting, arts and crafts, raffles also included.
Local cafe Hug in a Mug will be providing food and drink on the day with hot dogs, burgers and mulled wine on offer.
Taking place in Walkden Town Centre, the event runs from 10 am to 4pm and is available for anyone with entry being free.
Dor from Walkden Community expects “500 to 1000” people to attend with them coming from all areas of Salford.
She describes the day as “intergenerational fun” with stuff for all members of the family to do.
2023 will be the ninth year Walkden in a Winter Wonderland’.
