Free outdoor film screenings and other winter festivities will be held at New Bailey as part of the Christmas Bazaar from Wednesday to Friday, December 6-8.

Located just off Chapel Street in Salford, and a short walk from the Salford Crescent and Salford Central train stations, the opening day will feature the free open-air cinema welcoming families braving the seasonally frosty weather.

Christmas classics Elf at 12:30pm, followed by The Holiday at 5:45pm will be screened, with a variety of Manchester’s best street food available alongside, including the likes of ThatZiki & Nina’s, who will be back at New Bailey between 12pm-6pm.

Visitors are encouraged to wrap up in warm clothing and to arrive early in order to secure seating.

Christmas market stalls will open on Thursday between 12pm-6pm, offering a wide selection of seasonal goods and food and drinks, including mulled wine.

There will also be live music from musician Liam McClair & The University of Salford’s choir from 12pm-2pm.

Friday will round off the event with a Santa Social, and families will have the chance to get a selfie with Father Christmas himself between 12pm-2pm whilst the market stalls continue to run.
