A new performing arts academy is set to host an open day for young people from Salford that love to perform, dance and socialise.
Dynamic Stars Academy will put on a free open day in Swinton on the 15th February from 1:30pm to 2pm which will include taster classes for dancing and acting.
The sessions will be led by Victoria Connett-Phillips, the director of Manchester-based, dynamic talent agency Morello Cherry Pips and Hannah Jackson, the owner of Empowered Studios and agency lead Darren Gordon.
A spokesperson for Dynamic Stars Academy urged people to attend the open day.
They said: “It’s free to come; you get to explore the studio and see what the studios are like, take part in different classes.”
“They meet new friends, they get social skills, they learn confidence – their own self confidence. They become part of a little community.”

Though the school is still awaiting official launch, Victoria provided insight into their hopes for making Dynamic Stars accessible for all.
She said: “Hopefully, we can get some funding where we can offer places on bursaries and make sure it’s accessible for working-class and lower-income families, because there’s a lot of diamonds in the rough, and if we can polish those diamonds and give them something, then that’s great.”
Both Hannah and Victoria have had performers’ land work in the performance industry on Coronation Street and Indiana Jones. Others have pursued their career though Shockout University, Dancebox and The Hammond.
After the official launch, classes are expected to take place on Sundays, open to young performers aged 5-18.
